REG – On this week’s show we have two of the biggest rivals in ‘ VARSITY WARS’ history going head to head as current champions WARWICK face up against new challengers, COVENTRY UNIVERSITY

MIRIAM – Last week, WARWICK managed to stretch their run to an impressive five wins but will tonight be the night they are dethroned by our young hopefuls?

REG – Let’s meet both teams, starting with the defending champions, WARWICK

REG – So let’s find out who will be attempting to wipe the smiles off their faces throughout the course of this evening.

MIRIAM – So guys, the stage is set. It’s the underdogs COVENTRY up against the champions, WARWICK

REG – Without further a do guys and girls, let’s play…

TOGETHER – ‘VARSITY WARS’ .

FIRT ROUND (PHYSICAL):

REG – Now all week we’ve been asking you guys on social media to get involved and vote for which challenge you’d like to see our student panelists face for today’s show.

MIRIAM – We’ve received some truly bizarre suggestions but can now confirm that ‘ The Human Table ’ challenge was the majority favorite and therefore will be task that gets the ball rolling.

REG – And for those of you most likely wondering what a ‘ The Human Table’ is exactly or what it may resemble, here’s a quick video to demonstrate.

MIRIAM – The winners of the challenge will be the team who successfully forms their table the quickest. Simple.

REG – Both of us will be representing a team for this challenge with mine being WARWICK & Miriam’s being COVENTRY .

MIRIAM – As Warwick are the current VARSITY WARS champions, they will decide who gets to go first. What will it be guys?

PRESENTER (mostly improvised) – Right ( coventry e.g ) are in position. Guys are you ready?…Ok, you know the rules. Can we have the timer ready, please? You may begin in three, two, one!

PRESENTER (mostly improvised) – For you guys watching at home, here is the time ( coventry e.g ) managed to secure but can it be beaten? Let’s find out. ( warwick e.g ) are up next!

MIRIAM – So at the end of that round I can confirm that ( coventry e.g ) managed to form their table in (time).

REG – And (team) managed to secure an impressive time of (time) and therefore have won this challenge and will receive TWO points!

MIRIAM – But do not worry ( losing team ) because we still have two more exciting rounds to go where anyone can snatch the points but first, it’s competition time.

MIRIAM – Now ladies & gentlemen, we are on to our second round, which can only mean one thing!

REG – It’s down to a furious face-off where anything goes!

MIRIAM – A huge three points are at stake for this round meaning it has the potential to make or break our two teams.

REG – The rules, as always, are simple. Each team member will go head to head with an opposing team member in an innuendo bingo-styled challenge.

MIRIAM – Both contestants will attempt to hold a cup of water in their mouths as the innuendo soundtrack plays.

REG – The person who manages to hold the water in their mouth and not spit it out will win and therefore earn a valuable point for their team.

MIRIAM – Ok, guys & girls, It’s (name or warwick) Vs. (name of coventry). Are you both ready? Please take a sip of water. Remember you can’t spit it out or laugh!

REG to read overall standings

MIRIAM – Right guys, the final round is as simple as a student meal. REG & I will read out university styled questions and whoever manages to hit their buzzer first gets the chance to answer.

REG – However, if the person on the buzzer fails to answer that question correctly, it will go over to the opposing team for them to answer & potentially steal a point.

MIRIAM – There’s a lot of points available in this round so make them count!

REG – Ok guys,

REG TO READ OVERALL STANDINGS.
